The main aim
of FDIWE is to play a leading role in the development of World Economy
Studies. So FDIWE takes full advantage of sound research basis and
teaching faculty, and gets the support of Education Ministry and
Fudan University as World Economics is the key discipline, and
cultivates and introduces human resources to improve its talent
system, and emphasizes the research of important theory and practice
in the field of world economy and international economics, and brings
about the first-class talent and produces the first –class
achievements, and compiles the middle or senior class teaching
materials about world economy and relevant disciplines.
During
2000-03, the full-time researchers of the institute have produced 16
books, 75 papers, and 8 government or enterprise consultancy reports
that have been adopted by the commissioning parties.
